- Aginal 5mg tablet contains Amlodipin 5 mg which belongs to a group of medicines called Antihypertensive medicine. Which used Control Blood Pressure and type of a chest pain (Angina). It lowers blood pressure and reduces the heart's workload, which helps prevent heart attacks and strokes.
- Aginal 5 mg Tablet’s most common side effects headache, Nausea, Abnominal Pain, Fatigue, sleepiness.
- Inform your doctor if you suffered from cardiogenic shock, unstable angina pectoris or heart failure after a heart attack, hypo-tension. If you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or breast feeding, need to inform your doctor. You have to complete the course of the medication as prescribed by your doctor even if you feel better.
- Aginal tab has Amlodipin as its main ingredient which is a calcium channel blocker. In high blood pressure, it normalizes the blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels to reduce the pressure on them, thereby improving the blood flow in the body. In heart-related chest pain (angina), the enhanced blood flow in the body relaxes the heart muscles by reducing the workload on the heart.
- It also improves the oxygen flow in the body, thereby, preventing any heart-related chest pain.
- Take the medication as the dose and duration prescribed by Doctor. It may be taken with or without food. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take it at fixed time.
