- Aginal AT 50 mg tablet contains Amlodipine 5 MG & Atenolol 50 MG which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-hypertensive medicine, this combination of medicine controls blood pressure when a single medication is not effective. It helps to lower high blood pressure and thus reduces the chances of future heart attack and stroke.
- Aginal AT 50 mg Tablet’s most common side effects headache, Nausea, Swelling, Fatigue, sleepiness, Constipation, Tiredness, Cold extremities & Slow Heart rate.
- You should also inform your doctor about your complete medical history before initiating the treatment. Don't stop taking medicine without your doctor's advice.
- Sudden Stopping Aginal AT 50mg tab may cause changes in your heart rhythm and blood pressure, cause chest pain, or a heart attack. Your doctor will lower your dose gradually over a period of time to help prevent these symptoms. If you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or breast feeding, need to inform your doctor.
- Aginal-AT 50mg tablet is a combination medicine that contains two active ingredients, Amlodipine and Atenolol. Both of the combinations in this medicine works to lower blood pressure but in different ways. Together they help to relax blood vessels, reduce heart rate and make it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. This lowers blood pressure.
Directions of Use:
- Take the medication as the dose and duration prescribed by Doctor. It may be taken empty stomach. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take it at fixed time.
