- Ceftas 100 Tab contains Cefixime 100 mg which belongs to the class of cephalosporin antibiotics, it used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It is effective in infections of the respiratory tract (eg. pneumonia), urinary tract, ear, nasal sinus, throat, and some sexually transmitted diseases.
- Ceftas 100 Tab’s most common side effects are Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Abdominal pain and Nausea.
- Before starting the Ceftas 100 mg Tablet, please inform your doctor if you have colitis (inflammation of the colon's inner lining), renal dysfunction, liver disease, and seizure disorders. Do not take this medicine on your own as self-medication may lead to antibiotic resistance in which antibiotics fail to act against specific bacterial infections. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice
- Ceftas 100 mg Tablet 10's contains Cefixime that works by inhibiting of cell wall synthesis. In turn, Ceftas 100 mg Tablet 10's weakens and destroys the bacterial cell wall, leading to death. As a result, Ceftas 100 mg Tablet 10's helps to treat bacterial infections.
- Take the medication as the dose and duration prescribed by Doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take it at fixed time every day.
