- Creamafin Fresh Tab contains Bisacodyl 5mg. It is an stimulant laxatives medicine used to treat Constipation. Constipation refers to infrequent bowel movements in which the stools are often dry, painful, and hard to pass. A constipated person has fewer than three bowel movements in a week.
- Cremaffin Fresh Tablet 10's may also be used to clean the intestines before a bowel surgery or examination.
- Cremaffin Fresh Tablet’s most common side effects are Diarrhoea, Vomitting, Stomach Pain & Nausea.
- Before using this medicine you should tell your doctor if you have a blockage in your bowel, upset stomach or your bowel movements have been different for more than two weeks. Some medicines and some foods can interfere with the way this medicine works so discuss this with your doctor to make sure you are safe. You should not normally take other treatments for constipation while using this medicine and should also avoid dairy products at the same time. If you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or breast feeding, need to inform your doctor.
- Cremaffin Fresh Tablet works by increasing the movement of the intestines, this helps empty your bowels and relieve constipation. It takes 6 to 12 hours to work and you may need several doses, but you should not take it every day for more than 5 days. This is a short-term treatment and should only be used when needed. It relieves the pain and discomfort caused due to constipation and improves your quality of life. Eat more high-fiber foods including fruit and vegetables and drink plenty of water to prevent constipation from happening.
- It is recommended to take this medicine at night when it is used to treat constipation. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is recommended to start with the lowest dose and increase if you need to, but do not exceed the maximum daily dose. You should not use this medicine for more than the recommended days unless your doctor tells you to.
