Zandu Kutaj ghan Vati is a helpful herbal remedy for diarrhoea and dysentery. Kutajaghana is also beneficial in various types of gastric problems. As per ayurvedic texts Kutajah plant has the properties of Ama-pacaka? the one that digests the Ama and is adjunct to decoction enema in properties. This is also known as a very good emetic agent. It even possesses anti haemorrhoidal qualities. Ayurvedic sages have also known it as a sperm purifier.
- It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of diarrhoea, ulcerative colitis, fever etc.
- It is used in treating fever with diarrhoea, dysentery, ulcerative colitis, malabsorption syndrome.
- 1-2 tablets 1-2 times a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
