- Zyrik 100mg tablet contains Allopurinol 100mg which belongs to a group of medicines called Antigout medicine. Which used to Prevent and treat gout (a type of arthritis caused due to the deposition of excess uric acid crystals in the joints). This medicine is also used to treat high uric acid levels in certain types of kidney stones or during cancer treatment. Zyrik 100 MG Tablet works by lowering the uric acid levels in the blood.
- Zyrik 100mg Tablet’s most common side effects are Nausea and Vomiting, Dizziness, and stomach pain, some of rare side effects are Loss of appetite, Change in taste, Blurred vision, Yellow colored eyes or skin & Dizziness
- This medicine may not be suitable to everyone, before taking this medicine; you should inform your doctor about your complete medical history. If you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or breast feeding, need to inform your doctor. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Doctor may suggest some medical tests before initiating treatment.
- Zyrik 100mg tablet contains allopurinol as an active component which works by preventing crystals from forming and reducing the levels of uric acid in your blood. This makes it less likely that you will suffer the symptoms and make them milder if you do have them. It is usually for long-term treatment and should be taken regularly until the dose is completed.
- Take the medication as the dose and duration prescribed by Doctor. It should be taken after foods to avoid stomach discomfort. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take it fixed time.
